(VIDEO) Satan Is Real! Remembering Charlie Louvin of the Louvin Brothers

Let’s hope that Charlie Louvin of the Louvin Brothers led a good life, because him and his brother…well they believed that “Satan was Real.” At least they made that claim on their hilarious album cover from the 1950s.

Charlie Louvin was half of the legendary and beloved country music duo. He passed away at the age of 83  due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Charlie and his brother Ira had several hits including “Hoping That You’re Hoping, “When I Stop Dreaming,” and “I Don’t Believe You’ve Met My Baby.”

To celebrate the man and his music, check out a couple of these old school videos and songs of the Louvin Brothers in their heyday.
