If your life ambition has been to one day talk to the one and only Angelina Jolie and ask her what it’s really like to wake up next to Brad Pitt every morning (without looking like a crazy stalker), here’s your chance.
Hearst Magazines today announced that the Hollywood actress and filmmaker will host a live online video chat her first-ever to be broadcast across several of the company’s websites. The live chat, also the first of its kind for Hearst, is scheduled for Thursday, January 12th at 8pm EST/5pm PST. The magazine brands participating in the event are Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, O, The Oprah Magazine, Redbook and Woman’s Day.
The 45-minute video chat will focus on Jolie’s writing and directorial debut and Golden Globe Best Foreign Language-nominated film “In the Land of Blood & Honey.” Fans of the actress, film and readers of Hearst Magazines are encouraged to visit and RSVP on any participating website to have the opportunity to ask Jolie about the film as well as other questions regarding her career.
Jolie, who is featured on the January cover of Marie Claire and recently co-hosted a screening of her film at Hearst Tower in New York City, said, “This is my first online chat and I’m thrilled that Hearst is broadcasting this across so many of its websites to reach such a diverse audience as the film expands into more theaters.”
While an unlimited number of people can participate in the live online chat, viewers must have a Facebook account in order to join the conversation and take part in the experience.
