WATCH: Half Time Show Super Bowl 2011-Dear Fergie, Please Stop.

By SunnyChanel |

I don’t know about you, but the Half Time Show for Super Bowl 2011 was painful to watch. It wasn’t the electric unitards that the extras wore. It wasn’t the odd sci-fi Tron-esque apparence of the Black Eyed Peas who looked really uncomfortable in their outfits, rather it was the performance by Fergie that gave us pause. It made us question whether it is time for Fergie to just give it up or perhaps it’s a simpler answer, just fire the sound guy. During the Super Bowl Half-Time show, Fergie not only didn’t bring the magnetism or the chemistry, but her vocals, the way they were mixed pr presented for TV, just did not sound good. Kudos for not lip-syncing
but this is a perfect example of why lip-syncing is such a good tool.  The whole performance was just awkward with countless people watching at home cringing with a mixture of pity and pain while watching the performance. It was not dynamic, it was not dynamite, it was not worthy of Super Bowl greatness.

i think that the performance was great whoever didnt like it is just a hater. dont be hatin on them just because you cant do half the stuff they are doing and i doubt you could even hold a single note. so if you have a problem with me you can hit me up on facebook or twitter cause im twelve i dont mind cursing out a couple people who get on my nerves about my celebs.

  2. Phyllis Hughes says:

the halftime show was brilliant except for the sound … which is NOT the BEPs fault … the sound engineer(s) failed! People stop hating!

  3. kerr says:

    stop hatin!

The sound and stage seemed like it wasn’t working. Fergie was off, no question about it. She struggled, I am not a hater, I happen to like the Black Eyed Peas, but she sounded awful, not very angelic. The rest of the group was pretty good, maybe will.i.am should have loaned Fergie the Auto-Tune mic. It may have sounded better.

I guess you were all high while watching the half time show right? ESPN poll shows every single state rated the performance a solid “F” as in F’ing terrible. I nearly threw up listening to those idiots try to perform. I’ll admit Usher was a decent act, but all else was major epic fail. There’s a reason I don’t listen to those idiots, they are beyond horrible. The whole performance was just slaughter on my ears and my eyes. The light show was epic lame and epic fail with the V not even lighting up during the performance. Why don’t you idiots go re – watch the performance again online now that you’re not drunk or high as a kite.

  6. Sandy says:

I thought they were great and by the way I am not drunk or high. If you dont have anything good to say then just shut the f…up. you dont speak for everyone and nor do I so lets just agree to disagree. (because your comments dont sound very intelligent) I am just saying it like I see it.
