Sunday was a big night for NYC grad student Luke Matheny. The Delaware native not only got the chance to attend the Oscars but he went on to win one, quite a surprise and an honor for the young filmmaker. At the 2011 Oscars he won the award for the live action short with his “God of Love,” and he is still graduate student in New York University’s film program.
What is his film “God of Love”, a short that he also stars in? On his website he describes it as, “The story follows the adventures of lounge-singing darts champion Raymond Goodfellow, whose prayers are answered — literally — when he receives a package of passion-inducing darts.”
