The Westboro Baptist Church Will Picket Christina Greene's Funeral.

Mourners will gather at a memorial Mass Tuesday for victims of the Tucson, Arizona weekend shooting.  The Mass will be held tonight at St. Odiilia  Church in Tucson, Arizona – where 9-year-old  shooting victim Christina Green had her First Communion a year ago. Unfortunately, the Westboro Baptist Church has targeted the service as their next picketing victim.

The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas, has made its name protesting the funerals of people who died of AIDS, gay people, soldiers and even Coretta Scott King. The church recently announced its intention to picket the funeral of the 9-year-old girl, Greene, who lost her life in this tragic event.

But this time, people are putting their feet down. They’re planning an ”angel action” – with 8 by 10 foot “angel wings” worn by participants and used to shield mourners from pickets.

This is absolutely horrible. Something legal needs to be done to the Westboro Baptist Church. How do you feel about the “angel action”? Do you think it will work?

God have mercy on your souls, Baptists who claim to be His children !! How inappropriate to make such a protest at the memorial of this beloved young girl ! I have lost my mother, father, and two day old granddaughter in 2010. This is a time of unmeasurable grief, for family and friends. You should be extending the unmeasurable love of Christ to these people and all who’ve come to honor them.
