Life is slower when you’re going at a toddler’s pace, but it can also be far more interesting. You get reintroduced to little joys like ants marching on the sidewalk, cloud formations in the sky and other people’s gardens. (My son could spend half an hour spinning our neighbor’s whirligigs.)
It must be challenging for a super-busy mom like designer Rachel Zoe to adjust to the little footsteps of her one-year-old son, Skyler Morrison Berman, but she seems to be managing just fine. The two of them were spotted on their way to lunch at an L.A. restaurant (hopefully one with paper-covered tables and crayons).
Skyler held on to his mom’s hand as he maneuvered the busy streets in his comfy moccasins, but after a while he got tired and let Mom do the rest of the work. The little guy’s getting big – it looks like Rachel had a big of a struggle picking him up!
Check out the mom-and-son pics here!
Look who’s walking! 1 of 5Skyler looks delighted to be standing on his own two feet - and to look so darned cute in his blue hat and moccasins.
Over here 2 of 5When you have a toddler, you have to go at his pace - and sometimes take a detour when he spots something interesting.
Okay, enough of this walking stuff 3 of 5Skyler wants a ride now, so Rachel preps for liftoff.
Upsy-daisy! 4 of 5Looks like this young lad is quite an armful to carry.
He likes the view from here 5 of 5Skyler's up, but Rachel seems to be doing a little more adjusting to get both of them comfortable.
