What Should These Pregnant Celebrities Name Their Babies? We Have Suggestions!Sunny Chanel
There are a whole slew of stars who are expecting. One of the big things they need to figure out? What to name their new bundles of joy.
That’s one of the funnest things about welcoming a new family member, giving them a name they’ll have for the rest of their life. It’s an important decision. So what will Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, Tina Fey and others name their next kid? We won’t know for sure for a while, but here are our suggestions!
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
One thing this couple knows how to do is self promote. I, for one, can totally imagine them naming their little boy Nick Jr. (and of course there would be those lucrative TV tie-ins). As for their girl…the name Princess. But maybe they’ll mix it up and name on Dolce and one Gabbana or one Gucci and the other Armani.
Natalie Portman embraces her Jewish heritage, so it would make sense that she would select a traditional Hebrew name, but something that is a bit unusual and has a casual cool to it. And it’s been reported that she is expecting a boy. Some suggestions? Zev (which means wolf), Etan (which means strong), Nadav (which means giving) or Caleb (which means bold).
Tori has two children already, Liam and Stella. Both nice traditional and a bit old-fashioned kind of names. She doesn’t yet know yet it she is having a girl or a boy. But she’ll probably do something similar with her third. For a girl perhaps Abigail, Clementine or Lucy and for a boy perhaps something like Ian, Shane or Shawn.
This is her second child with a rock star. Her first son has the name Ryder, which has a pretty rockin’ sound to it. Kate thinks this one will be a girl, so something that’s a bit tough, but feminine would be a good match (just like mom). Like Roxanne, Trixie, or Ruby.
For her first child she went old school with the name Alice. Now, we don’t know if she’ll be having a girl or a boy (and she claims she won’t find out the gender of the baby until they go to prom), but we can make some guesses. For a boy, something strong and manly (perfect for the spawn of a Bossypants) like Stan or George and if she had a girl perhaps the name Mabel, Beatrice or Hazel.
What do you think these stars will go with?
