What Your Bag Holding Technique Says About You: Celebrity Edition!

sunnychanel SunnyChanel |

Refinery 29 gave us some very interesting insight into something most of us just take for granted. They “tapped body-language expert Patti Wood” to give them meaning to the simple act of how one holds their bag with a handy dandy graphic aptly called, “What your bag-holding technique says about you.”

Personally, I’m between “The Schlepper” and “The Hands-Free.” But I was more curious about how the celebrities carry their bags and what it means about them and their lifestyle.

We took a sampling of Refinery 29‘s thesis (you can check out the whole article right here), and applied it to some of our favorite celebrities from Kourtney Kardashian to Sarah Jessica Parker. What does their bag-holding technique say about them?

    The Arm Crook Hook

The "arm-crook hook" is, as Refinery 29 points out, a favorite "of paparazzi-chased celebs," like Kourtney Kardashian, who is often spotted using this bag carrying technique.

  • The Hands-Free

    The Hands-Free

The hands free is very common, especially with celebrity moms who have more than one child. Like Sarah Jessica Parker who used "The Hands-Free" when out with her twins.

  • The Schlepper

    The Schlepper

Jessica Alba is busy. Really busy. She's an actress, a business woman and a mom of two. So schlepping is just part of her every day.

  • The Twofer

    The Twofer

Kate Middleton is a big fan of "The Twofer." It seems like a side effect of being a non-celebrity thrust into the spotlight. Plus she seems quite modest and shy.

  • The Baguette

Charlize Theron always seem so "on the go," she is a busy gal who doesn't get to bogged down with a bag.
