Are you one of the millions who sit down every week to watch the adventures of little Alana Thompson and her family on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo? Or one of the millions who shake their head in disbelief?
Either way, it’s been a while since we’ve reported on the doings of the young beauty queen, her beautimous mom June and the rest of her take-us-as-we-are family.
After the hectic fun of the holidays – during which the Shannon/Thompson clan opened their decorated yard to fans – they’re back to filming season 2 of the show. When they’re not busy with school or work commitments, they continue to coupon and collect fan mail.
But there may be a fun break in their future soon. Mama June Shannon recently took to Alana’s official Facebook page to ask followers their suggestions for fun things to do in Orlando.
Honey Boo Boo meeting Mickey Mouse? That’s something we’d tune in to see.

We love Boo Boo…but not quite as much as NeNe 1 of 6Some folks thought the show about the little pageant queen and her less-than-refined family would be a one-season wonder. They were wrong. The new "Holladay" specials airing this month and next have earned very respectable ratings - the Halloween special brought in 3.1 million viewers. However, it wasn't the top-rated ad-supported cable show for that day. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" came in first with 3.7 million viewers.
More on the numbers from WrapTV.
Alana and her folks haven’t lost their redneck edge 2 of 6The family's brash downscale ways are what endear them (or not) to viewers - and they're not about to change that just because they're huge TV stars. They haven't announced their plans for this year's Redneck Games, but they do plan to visit the Dukes of Hazzard Georgia Reunion in March.

Anna’s baby is getting big! 3 of 6Mama June's oldest daughter, Anna (a/k/a "Chickadee") gave birth to baby Kaitlyn near the end of Season 1. Photos of the blue-eyed darling appear on Alana's Facebook fan page (run by Mama June and her friend Bobbie), and according to one caption, at 6 months old, Kaitlyn is already trying to crawl!

Alana created a cookie controversy 4 of 6If you want Thin Mints to go with your 'sketti, you'll have to look somewhere else. Alana and Mama June tried to help their friend Dezzy sell Girl Scout cookies by advertising them on their Facebook page and offering an autographed box with each order. Some fans cried foul (the cookies aren't supposed to be sold in any commercial manner), and the family quickly rescinded the offer. June posted an apology, saying, "We didn't mean to stir up trouble when we offered cookies to our fans."

She and her family answer fans’ burning questions 5 of 6Even with their busy filming and school schedules, the Shannon/Thompson clan make it a point to acknowledge the folks who helped make them stars. They're still posting photos of family members with the letters and gifts they receive (Jessica "Chubbs" is seen here). June sometimes even answers their FB questions. Some recent ones: "Does Honey Boo Boo still have her pet chicken?" (Yes.) "Where are the 'interview' portions of the show filmed?" (On a nearby property.) "Which TLC shows would you like to do crossovers with?" ("Cake Boss" for the girls; "Long Island Medium" for June.)

She wants to help stop the hate 6 of 6Honey Boo Boo may holla' for a dolla,' but she's even louder and clearer when it comes to bullying. She and her family are joining The Brand UR T-shirt company in asking their fans to wear black on January 25 for "Black Out Bullying Day."
