For the first time in Big Brother history, an alliance made at the beginning of the show made it to the final 3 of the popular reality show. The Bragade, made up of original 4 members Matt (the Brain), Enzo (the Meow Meow), Lane (The Beast) and Hayden (The Animal) cemented their alliance early in the game in a move that took 3 of them all the way to the end. The Bragade members turned on Matt, voting him out when they thought that he had a side alliance with Ragan. If only they knew that Matt was loyal to the Bragade and was angling to get Ragan evicted!
The final 3 consisted of Enzo Palumbo, Lane Elenburg and Hayden Moss, a group of men who stayed true to their alliance throughout the game and somehow managed to escape eviction even though other house members were starting to catch on to their alliance most notable Ragan who even expressed his concerns that there was a powerful male alliance in the house. So who are these 3 Bragade’ members who took the Big Brother house by storm? Here’s a little bit about each of them.
Enzo Meow Meow’ Palumbo is an insurance adjustor from Bayonne, N.J. Enzo played probably the most social game of the season, as he failed to win almost any challenges (although he did show up for the VETO competition when it counted most for him) and never found himself as the Head of Household. The loveable father of 1, who proclaimed on many occasions how much he loved and missed his wife and daughter, and stated that I can handle anything’ failed to win the final head of household challenge, sealing his fate. Enzo was the last member of the Big Brother house to be evicted.
Lane The Beast’ Elenburg was the oil rig salesman from Decatur, Texas, who provided most of the laughs in his diary room confessions. His social game was good, but not as good as Enzo’s. Lane found himself many times being doubted by his Bragade members for his relationship with Britney, with whom he had developed a solid friendship with. Fortunately Lane won challenges when he needed to, securing Britney’s safety in the house as well as The Bragade. Lane, who enjoys working out, riding motorcycles, going out with friends and playing golf’ lost the half million dollars when he lost to Hayden in the final Head of Household competition.
Hayden The Animal’ Moss was the 24 year old college student from Tempe, Arizona, who describes himself as Outgoing, athletic and charming’ proved to be all of the above in this year’s show. Moss had a showmance’ with fellow houseguest Kristen, and even threw a challenge that found him winning luxury items while Enzo had to endure dressing in a penguin costume for an entire week, and still walked away with the half million dollar grand prize. Moss had proved himself to be not only a great social player, but also a great physical competitor, winning 3 HOH competitions. There wasn’t anyone in the house that didn’t like Hayden, and that secured his grand prize win.
I’m a little sad that Britney didn’t make it into the final 3, but it was nice to see an alliance that actually stuck throughout the season, leaving the finale to be more based on performance in competitions than on personal feelings. Everyone determined their own fate at the end by how they did in the final HOH competition. I have no doubt that if Enzo won the final HOH he would have walked away with the grand prize. What do you think?
