Why Britney Spears Body Language Says She Is Not Ready For “The X Factor”

Simon Cowell, you are an evil man. And make that a double emphasis on the word evil.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am not looking forward to seeing Britney Spears on “The X Factor.” While it was pretty harsh of Howard Stern to say it in public, he did have a point in saying that Brit Brit is going to be a train wreck on television that is going to be hard to watch.

According to Us Weekly, Britney is already feeling stressed and “loopy” about her new job, and honestly, I don’t blame her. She’s had a rough five years, still doesn’t have control over her own life (even though she’s 30), and doesn’t need this added pressure and criticism to put her over the edge again. The Brit Brit of 2012 that we know now most definitely isn’t the Brit Brit of 1999 that was fun, bubbly and full of charisma. Just look at this poor girl’s eyes.

Here’s what Us Weekly has to say about her stress levels:

Sources warn that Britney hasn’t healed 100 percent since her 2007/2008 breakdown. “She really is starting to seem loopy and not right,” admits a source close to Spears. “She is so happy one minute and sad and crying the next.” Adds a second source, “Her emotions are fragile.”

“She is very scared and overwhelmed by the thought of it,” a source says about the idea of participation in The X Factor. And her reported $15 million payday seems to be a hindrance, not a help. “Now that she’s gotten financially stable again, she is starting to let loose and let old demons come out,” says a source.

At a friend’s crawfish-boil party in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood May 5, Spears showed up sporting cutoffs, a cropped top and no shoes and proceeded to ignore the other guests while muttering obscenities to herself! Hanging out alone by the food, a source says, “she would sort of say to no one, ‘F—k it, I’m eating whatever I want. I don’t care.’ Everyone was wondering what was up.”

I will add that a good friend of mine paid a small fortune to have VIP access to her at one of her Miami concerts so he could do a meet and greet. Before he was allowed in her room, Britney’s security told him not to touch her, not to ask her any questions, not to have any sudden movements, and to not stand too close to her as well. They explained that Britney is extremely shy and fearful of people she doesn’t know. Honestly, if Britney is having such a hard time meeting her fans, how in the world is she going to mentor would-be pop stars? Check out our photo gallery of Britney and tell us, by looking at her body language, doesn’t it seem like something just isn’t right? Girlfriend needs to stay home with her boys and not deal with millions of people watching her mess up on television.

Simon, no amount of money in the world is worth you humiliating one of the biggest pop stars in the world for a little boost in ratings for a show we shouldn’t be watching anyhow.
