Jackie Evancho, of Pittsburgh, PA, discovered her love of singing after seeing Phantom of the Opera when she was 8.
While most people are astounded that a 10 year old can sing opera so impressively, still others are crying foul, saying that Jackie Evancho is lip synching. I’m guessing there’s no way that’s allowed on America’s Got Talent.
Jackie is being compared to Britain’s Got Talent phenom Susan Boyle, and while Boyle didn’t win her season of the talent competition, Evancho looks to be a definite front-runner.
Evancho submitted her America’s Got Talent audition on YouTube and earned the most votes by viewers to appear on the show.
Even if the 10 year old opera singer doesn’t win it all, there’s no doubt that you’ll be seeing more of Jackie Evancho in the future. She’s a definite young talent and her star is on the rise.

She is amazing. I won’t lie, but I doubt she will win. It would be unfair that she would win because she has an amazing voice, and Voices of Glory didn’t. Children rarely win these things.
Prince Poppycock, on the other hand, is pure entertaining. He does not only sing opera, but comes with a variety of other things, such as costumes and can sing famous songs, like Bohemian Rhapsody. He deserves to win.
