Will Natalie Portman quit acting to raise her baby?

A recent quote from Natalie Portman seems to point at the idea of quitting the business to spend time with her family, but then again, maybe we’re reading into it too much.

Natalie Portman compared her career to Audrey Hepburn’s career track, which seems to hint at the idea quitting being a movie star for awhile to focus on family.

Portman told The Sun’s Buzz magazine: “Audrey made some good choices in life. More and more I realize how unimportant it is to be in the history books or anything like that. Putting time and energy into your children – that’s valuable.”

Natalie and fiance Benjamin Millepied are expecting their first child soon… do you think Natalie Portman will quit acting and focus on being a mom?

Don’t forget, she’s been acting since she was a child, so I wouldn’t be surprise if being a new mommy would be a great opportunity to take a little break.

Maybe she’ll go the route of Julia Roberts, who didn’t quit, but chose to work less, noting that she’s “earned” it.
