Will the Duggars Have More Kids?

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar plan to have more babies?Personally, the thought of having 19 kids shuts my ovaries down, but more power to Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, who just brought home baby number 19 and will certainly consider adding more to their family.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar tell People in a new cover story that they are definitely considering more children, saying “We’re ready for more.”

Baby number 19 (Josie) was premature and did encounter some complications, but the Duggars are confident that they’ll play whatever cards are dealt to them. Yes, that means more babies could be on the horizon.

Josie was hospitalized for six months and just returned home after her recovery from a perforated bowel and digestive problems. Jim Bob told People, “Our family is stronger than ever. We made it through the storm.”

Through it all, the Duggars say “We are following our convictions.”

With her 19th pregnancy, Michelle suffered preeclampsia (pregnancy-induced high blood pressure), which could definitely return for any subsequent pregnancies. There’s definitely a risk for a mother suffering from this – she could have a stroke or it could even be fatal.

People are divided about whether they think Jim Bob and Michelle should add more babies to the family, but honestly, they are all polite, well-cared for children who have had a positive, loving upbringing and the family relies on no state assistance to feed all of those mouths.

Who are we to judge?

Do you think the Duggars will have more children? Place on your bets on what number they stop at… I’m guessing on an even 20.
