One, and only one.
One thing I wish I knew before having kids:
Kids turn your heart up to 11 — everything feels so intense! But deep down you're still the same you you were before, with the problems, passions, interests, and dreams you've always had. Don't forget to nurture them too, as well as your children.
My guilty pleasure:
Packing a flask and some candy, and seeing a movie alone. I still kind of can't get over how, as an adult, you can just go to the movies by yourself, whenever you want. It always used to seem like such a special treat when I was a kid.
The first thing I do when I wake up:
My son jumps into bed with my wife and me every morning, so I start the day with a cuddle. I highly recommend it!
