Me Ra Koh

Me Ra Koh loves cameras, kids, and parents, and spends her life bringing them together. Her work and photo recipes have been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Disney Junior, Lifetime Television, VH1, Martha Stewart Living Radio, and she was Nate Berkus’s regular go-to photo expert on The Nate Berkus Show (NBC) for two years. Staring November 2012, she will host her own show “Capture Your Story” on Disney Junior, empowering and inspiring moms to capture their kids. She is the author of the bestselling book, Your Baby in Pictures: The New Parents’ Guide to Photographing Your Baby’s First Year. The next book in the series, Your Child in Pictures, is scheduled to release Fall 2013.

Her photo tips have been featured in The New York Times, Parenting, American Baby, Popular Photography and American Photo, and her award winning photos have been on exhibit from New York City to San Francisco. Her popular CONFIDENCE workshop (digital photography workshops for women) has sold out nationwide for five years, giving women a safe place to be empowered with their camera and renewed in creativity. She now has a team of trained and certified CONFIDENCE teachers who she and her husband, Brian, mentor, equipping their teachers to carry out the CONFIDENCE mission and workshop to their local communities by offering beginner (half day), intermediate (full day) workshops to moms.

Her instructional DVD series "Refuse to Say Cheese" and "Beyond the Green Box" have won awards from parenting publications, as well as being named a Top 10 Holiday Gifts by FOX News. She is also proud to be one of six founding SONY Artisans of Imagery representing family portraiture. Me Ra is an inspirational keynote speaker, speaking to the heart of women and inspiring their creative spirits. She resides in Seattle, WA with her greatest loves; her children and amazing, supportive husband.
