Since 2005, Ria Sharon has been working and playing in social media, connecting with like-minded individuals to forward causes, businesses and friendships — not necessarily in that order. In 2011, after a year of diving deep into its conceptual development with fellow blogger, Jen Lemen, and synthesizing a range of technical skills, Ria launched HopefulWorld.org, an online classroom of global wisdom for modern learners that offers online classes and digital products for people who are ready to consciously create their best lives. Ria is ever hopeful about the ways that technology supports our need for human connection and blogs about technology on Babble Mom.

Powered Parents: Technology We Can’t Live Without

As I was thinking about this post on technology and I saw this picture go viral on Facebook, my mind couldn’t help but turn to all our friends and loved ones who braved Hurricane Sandy last week and were left for days without power. Want to Wake Up Rested? There’s an App for That.

How many mornings do you wake up feeling more tired than when you went to bed? It might not even be the fact that you stayed up until 2 a.m. editing that video or writing that product review. A friend of mine commented the other day that she was exhausted and couldn’t figure out why MORE »

The Future of Connectivity and Why Mark Zuckerberg Didn't Invent Facebook

Nate sums up Lincoln’s patent application in his post: Lincoln was proposing that each town MORE »
