Cody has been a practicing attorney for three years, a husband for 12, a dad for eight, and outnumbered by girls since birth.

Cody began writing for Babble Dad to challenge himself and share the often-unseen story of a full-time working father. Cody has no problem going out of his way to make sure his girls are taken care of and happy, even if that means getting his face stepped on a few times in the process. Cody has managed his wife Casey's depression since the beginning of their marriage. His perspective and personal experience with mental illness, paired with his calm and level demeanor, has given hope and comfort to many spouses dealing with their partners’ illnesses.

He is also a loyal University of Utah alumnus and a dedicated football fan. Cody hates spiders, loves maple syrup, sleeps with a one-eyed cat, is on the constant search for the perfect BBQ ribs, and dreams of one day connecting a waterslide to his bedside that goes straight into a pool.
