Have you ever thought about making a lamp? It seems difficult, that is, until I started looking up tutorials. I pictured a Flashdance scene with a torn, off-the-shoulder sweatshirt and lots of welding equipment, but it turns out you don’t need any of that (okay, maybe the sweatshirt). Actually, making a lamp is not that hard. It takes a bit of reading instructions and practice, but I’ve found some tutorials that will help you become a master in no time. One of my favorites was for these literary book page lamps. Aren’t they cool? I’ve rounded up a few others, in addition to some basic lamp revamps and shade DIYs that I discovered as well.
