15 New Year Cleanses

After all the excess of the holiday season, a good, refreshing cleanse in January is appealing for more than just physical reasons–think of the money you could save by purchasing only a limited amount of ingredients!

Before you dust that blender off, I’ve put together a quick round up of all the different cleanses available to you, making their rounds on le Interneto (including one that lets you eat REAL FOOD!). Would you ever consider a cleanse? If so, why? Or why not?

    Using Ayurveda, this cleanse claims to gently flush toxins. Operative word being "flush?" Question mark?

    The Master Cleanse
    Oh, the Master Cleanse. Using cayenne pepper and maple syrup and not much else, this cleanse is not particularly tasty, and probably not all that good for you either, but Beyonce used it to get svelte for her role in Dream Girls, so there's that for you.
