15 Valentine Cards for Kids to Make

By Marie |

I have to admit that Valentine’s day was always one of my favorite holidays growing up. I loved passing out Valentines to my classmates and seeing what fun cards and candy I was going to get in return.

Valentine’s Day cards are super fun to make. You get out your craft supplies, add a few candies in, it’s the best. And I’ve loved to encourage my children to get in on the fun too. Happily it’s that time of year again to start thinking of what to make. I’m in LOVE this the idea pictured above for a mustache valentine from The Craft Monkey, so creative! I think giving out fake mustaches for the kids in the classroom would be a big hit.

We’ve got to top last year’s Monster Valentine’s day cards. They’ve got their EYE on you!! And now we’re looking for this year’s show stopper.

Here are 15 Valentine’s day card ideas that would be perfect for kids to make:

These are very creative great card ideas. One other suggestion is to place a packet of TickleMe Plant seeds in your Valentines Day (or any other occasion card). TickleMe Plants are the only plants that react to affection by closing their leaves and lowering their branches when tickled. My students love them. Search TickleMe Plant to see a live one in action and to get a greenhouse kit to grow your own…even in winter.
