That’s my daughter Boo. I dreamed of making her any costume her heart desired last year. Instead, she insisted on a pizza costume from Old Navy.  This year I’m starting early and doing my research…..finding some amazing handmade costumes and hoping that one might catch her eye.

Oh funny, Ashley! My son wanted to be a piece of pizza last year, so I made him a pizza costume – I had no idea they were selling them at Old Navy! :)

That t.p. roll wig is AWESOME. Anyone have any creative ideas on how to make a princess costume interesting? I’m begging her to be a “lion tamer princess” so I can make her little bro a lion, but it’s a no go so far. Little girls and their princess obsessions….sigh.

Love the raining Cats and Dogs costume!

Last year I made my son an elephant costume and my daughter a butterfly! This year, my daughter is being a cow since she is obsessed with them (18mos)(my aunt had made the costume for my cousin 10 years ago) and my son is going to be either a fox or a wolf, mimicking a coat I found on etsy, he just has to choose the color!

I LOVE the owl, peacock and the octopus though. If the cow didn’t fit her she’d totally be one of those

I want to make the chicken costume, where did it come from????

  8. Patricia says:

That chicken is from Martha Stewart several years back.
