Rainbow Tinted Mason Jars

This is a fresh take on Mason Jars: tint them! Follow the directions at this site to make a rainbow, or tint them only the color to match your decor. Going with turquoise this season? Go all turquoise. The possibilities are endless.

    We are using mason jars with tea lights at our wedding to add a soft glow around the backyard for ambiance. I love mason jars and wrote about it here:

    I have a tip on how to start seeds,put your seed in ground water and turn a mason jar over where you planted the seed .

    My son wants to enter the “jazzy Jar’ catagory in our local fair. You can use a quart size jar and decorate it (past years have been filled w/ various things). He is looking for a new, never done before idea…anyone? Best in show 2 yrs ago was a mason jar with a soup can attached on top and ‘spilling’ alphabet ‘letters’ into it. It was awesome!
