23 Festive Christmas Stockings to DIY

craftyamy craftyamy |

Martha Stewart pinecone stocking

I’ve recently been focusing on crafts that take awhile to make. Not all Christmas stockings take a long time to assemble, but if you have a big family like I did growing up (seven of us) then it might take awhile to get them all done! I absolutely loved my Christmas stocking when I was young because it was handmade by my grandmother. I tried to stretch the end because I thought making it bigger would get me more stuffers. That doesn’t work, by the way.

I’ve put together a collection of some of my favorite handmade stockings for the year. I also mixed in a few stocking projects that I thought were cute. There are some fun ones, some modern ones and then some very pretty ones (like the pinecone stockings above). Take a peek after the jump!
