25 Festive Pinecone Craft Projects – Holiday Inspired

By craftyamy |

felted pine cones

Every time I walk outside these days I see tons of pinecones on the ground – and my first question is, what can I make from them? It’s a free, natural material. It’s also an awesome shape. I would love to make one out of other materials, like felt or fabric (which I have so much of). I guess what I love about pinecones is that they are so festive. When I see a bunch of them, I think winter and holiday, and I love that feeling. I think I’ll get started on my pinecone quest with the felt pinecones above (LOVE the colors). Want to see what else you can make with nature’s craft material? See many more projects (lots of holiday) after the jump!
