25 Rugs That Rock

By Natalie |

We’re obsessed over at our house with finding THE perfect rug for our new space. Initially I wanted something graphic and modern, and then I wanted something Persian and silky. Now I want, well, I’m not sure. I only know I’m looking for an 8×10 that inspires deep love and the sweet, peaceful feeling of having found your soul mate. I know, it’s a lot to ask of a rug.

After the jump, some of my favorites! You’re bound to find your own floor soul mate in here. I promise.

Except my husband says "no more stripes!"

So tell me, any fabulous rug sources I’m missing out on? What does your dream rug look like?

As far as the West Elm jaipur printed dhurrie, I will tell you, it is beautiful and I love it but! It pokes my bum if I sit on it wearing very thin layers. (NO G’s! you will think you sat on a cactus!) and I have only had it a very short time and it is in a low traffic area and it has already faded A LOT. I love a lot of the rugs you found. Good luck! Rugs are a very big commitment!

Back when I was rug shopping I saw some amazing overdyes on (overdye overstock, heh, I’m easily amused).
I ended up getting a rug at Lowes, Lowes!
