9 Ways to Save Money at the Movies

By Just Heather |

I just love movies. I can have entire conversations in movie quotes. Our DVD collection spans 8 shelves on 2 walls. And, the theater? Oh, how I love it! I have been twice in the last week and would gladly go again if anyone else needs a date for The Hunger Games. (Because, really, twice just isn’t enough for that one!)

The hubby and I will go to late movies after the younger girls are in bed. (Can I get a w00t for teenagers?!) My best friend and I will see our favorite books turned movie, then dissect it over drinks. And, every now and then, we’ll go see a movie as a family.

But without a few deals and tricks, I wouldn’t be able to go at all.

I buy discount tickets at Costco…twin pack for $15.99, and use them on weekends and at night, when I cannot get to the theater for discounted afternoon shows. They save money over evening and weekend rates.

The Entertainment book also offers discounted movie tickets.
