A Project with 2,000 Buttons

Can you tell who it is with just a peek? This weekend my daughter and I took 2,000 buttons, 6 tubes of industrial glue and made a 3 foot tall recreation of this famous Frida Kahlo portrait. We also videotaped all 8 hours of the process and made this fun short time lapse video with closeups of the detail. My daughter loves it…..it’s like an “I Spy” game with little skulls, teddy bear buttons and many other things to find in the button mosaic.

Watch the short video and see more photos after the jump!
