All Things Nautical: 25 Projects for Home and Fashion

By Jacinda |

Are y’all aboard with the nautical look this summer? It’s getting toasty here in Texas and it has me dreaming of setting sail with the breeze in my hair. I’ve never been on a cruise but now that I have three kids, and I’ve been perusing sponsor Norwegian Cruise Line itineraries, it seems like the perfect family vacation. When I close my eyes and fantasize about this perfect family vacation, we are stepping out in stripes, buttons, and red, white and blue. Do people do that on cruises? I would. Alas, there is no family cruise on the agenda this summer, so we will have to bring the nautical look home with decor fit for the high-seas. Here are 25 fashion and home projects that will make you feel like you’re 10 miles from land with an icy drink in your hand.

The sailor collar reminds me of a dress I had as a little girl! Beautiful! And I love the rope headband… just not sure if my knot-tying skills are up to the challenge.

Those yarn bracelets are awesome and you don’t even have to stick to nautical colors (although I love them) — you could use neon colors, too! I found my weekend project :]

LOVE the bunting! We did my son’s nursery in a nautical theme & I wish we had this for his room!
