Baking Breakfast on a Lazy Saturday MorningMarie LeBaron
Saturday mornings are precious at our house. No school, no appointments, we can sleep in. Well, not really with 3 little kids, but…it’s a day off for the most part. So we like to make a fun breakfast together as a family to get our day started and the kids love to help.
Sometimes it’s pancakes, or maybe french toast, even scrambled cheesy eggs. This Saturday it’s Orange Rolls, yum! These are Pillsbury’s Orange Sweet Rolls.
One child helps arrange the rolls in the pan…
Together they watch them bake and wait…
And the other one helps pour on the frosting… all over, mostly in one spot
Then it’s time to eat.
We sit down and talk about our day, what we’d like to do, where we’d like to explore, what projects to do around the house. There might be a trip to the library, a little shopping, or just playing dress up all morning, as you can see these two got started early on that last one
Yes, Saturday mornings with the family are perfectly lazy at our house!
