Basic Crochet Series: Let's Make a Granny Square

Recently over at Make and Takes, I joined forces with a fabulous crochet chick, Dani from Goldilock’s Ride, to help me crochet a Granny Square from start to finish. It was a 5 part basic crochet series, including how-to’s and videos.

Have you ever crocheted? It’s pretty easy once you get going with the first couple of steps. And it can be a fun, creative outlet. One day you’ll be crocheting sweaters, scarves, and blankets! My mother still has a crocheted blanket my grandma made years and years ago.

Here’s how the crochet series went, getting our basics down:

    All you need to begin crocheting is a hook and some yarn. A quick trip to a craft store and you are ready to go.
