Cinco de Mayo Dining Deals

Cinco de Mayo is almost here — do you have a Saturday night fiesta planned? I know a lot of people will hit the bars for Mexican beer or head out for chips & dip.

If you’re planning to celebrate Mexico’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla, I’m pretty sure it should be done with a margarita in hand. I’ll be celebrating a couple days late, at our standing Margarita Monday Girls’ Night, but there are a few deals out there to save some money while you dine on Saturday night.

Check out these coupons, specials, and Cinco de Mayo deals before you head out this weekend:

Applebee’s: They actually serve a pretty decent margarita, and if you hit them up late night you can pair it with 1/2 price appetizers! All appetizers are 50% off after 9pm.

Chili’s: You can kick back with a margarita, Corona or their new Coronarita. Grab dinner while you’re there from the 2 for $20 menu — including an appetizer and 2 entrees.

Moe’s Southwest Grill: The first 100 guests at each Moe’s restaurant on Saturday will receive a free limited edition 2012 Cinco de Moe’s t-shirt. Several locations across the country are also offering $3-5 specials. Check with your local restaurant for specific details.

On the Border: Visit On the Border every day this week to unveil a new one-day special in their Countdown to Cinco de Mayo. Today you can get a free dessert coupon.

Local Bars & Restaurants: My favorite local Mexcian restaurant has live music most Saturday nights, and I’m sure Cinco de Mayo will be no exception. Many other bars and restaurants will offer holiday festivities or drink specials to help you celebrate.

Enjoy your festivities — but be safe out there, friends!
