Curbside Vegetable Gardens Adding Whimsy to Your Home

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, I’ve driven the streets and have seen so many homes with their front yards turned into curbside vegetable gardens. It seems to be all the rage here and I want to join in on the fun. These gardens give whimsy to the home and make the yard so playful.

Here’s a few snapshots I’ve taken from around my neighborhood. I’m not sure which is my favorite. I think I’ll be taking ideas from them all…

Mounds of soil for the garden bed, with a decorative pot in the center and a small rock path throughout the middle. This one is fenced out slightly for critters.

Love the red painted garden bed, giving it some color.

I love the piping for tomatoes and the bean climbing fence.

Cute stone siding to surround each vegetable bed.

How fun to see the pumpkin sticking out, almost on the driveway.

This one is my favorite, with the darling red picket fence section. And I LOVE those silver garbage pails.
