Cyber Monday: The Real Deal or Exaggerated Hype?Heather Sokol
I have shopped all weekend, finding amazing deals and nearly crossing off my entire holiday gift list. I’ll check out Cyber Monday tomorrow, in hopes of finishing it off. But, honestly? I don’t expect the deals to be all they’re cracked up to be.
Cyber Monday is a little like Sweetest Day — overly hyped, basically made up, and designed to make you spend more money right when the retailers need it. Oh, you’ll find a coupon code or two that will save you a few bucks, but it’s not quite up to the deep discounts of Black Friday.
On the other hand, it could be a simple way to finish (or start!) your holiday shopping. You know, without the lines & stress of in-store shopping. And, without the fun too. Clicking away at home just doesn’t have the same impact as tracking down just the right Cabbage Patch doll with your sister.
If you are interested in Cyber Monday, check out these coupon codes & deals. I’ll be tracking down whatever deals I can find. Some of my favorite small retailers will be offering discounts this week, and I can’t wait to tell you about them.
Will you be shopping online tomorrow?
