DIY Batik Using Bleach

DIY Bleach Batik via babble.com (tutorial via lilblueboo.com)

Batik is traditionally used with dye, but sometimes I just don’t want to mess with dye!  It can be way too messy. So I used bleach to remove color instead…..and I love how the projects turned out. Instead of using hot messy wax, I used a candle decorating pen. The pen is a cold liquid wax and washes out with warm water. It doesn’t get easier than this! I used lyrics from the song Imagine for one of the tees….cool, rocker chic!
