The holidays are prime time for crafting and DIY projects, which also means ’tis the season for craft fails. We get overly confident, we skip instructions, or we try something we’ve never tried before . . . the perfect recipe for a DIY disaster. I’m pleased to share with you some of my favorite holiday-craft fails from the past few years (mostly Christmas but there’s a Hanukkah one too), and they are sure to make you smile. If you haven’t made any of these mistakes during your holiday crafting, count yourself lucky. One of the projects that had me howling was the Santa Garcia ornament above.
