Hang Up Your Handbags

By ashleyhackshaw |

Get your closet in order by hanging your purses, bags and belts! I first saw the use of shower rings to hold handbags on Better Homes and Garden and put my own spin on it. I used “easy glide”  shower rings (the ones with the ball bearings) and combined them with large round clamp rings:

(see more after the jump)

The shower rings roll easily over the clothing rod and the larger clamps hold the bags without twisting the handles:

I was even able to hang the bags with dust covers! Hanging the bags cleared up a few shelves and made this section of my closet orderly and easily accessible. I can finally see all my purses in one place and maybe use them more now!

This post is part of my new ongoing series Getting Organized!
