DIY Playdough + 9 Other Activities for Kids

By Cyd Converse |

I remember when I was a kid how much I loved it when my mom made pies. Not just because I love pie. (Which I most definitely do.) But because I always got to play with the leftover dough. I’d roll it out, cut it into shapes, make long dough snakes, and get wild with food coloring. The fact that using all of the food coloring at once would result in muddy brown colored dough was lost on me – it was just so much fun! Maybe that’s why I find homemade games so awesome. A DIY water wall? Bubbles mixed at home? You name it, I love it. Herewith, homemade (rainbow!) playdough and 9 other activities for kids…
