How to Get Gum out of Upholstery

FacebookTwitterGoogle+TumblrPinterest

We recently returned from a trip + as I pulled my daughters booster seat out to vacuum underneath, I was mortified + disgusted, but mostly mortified.

What the what? There was skittles, marker, some unidentifiable brownish stuff + G.U.M. Want to see what I used to get all of this out? Find out after the jump.

Folex, I buy mine from Lowes. It is so simple to use + seriously got gum out. What you do is spray your area with the folex + then, I know this sounds weird, using your fingernail you scratch at the spot or skittle or gum(!). With the gum it took a couple of applications, but what it did was harden the gum so I was able to literally scratch it off. On another instance my children took a sharpie to our couch + folex took that right out as well. It’s magic.
