So…I’m on a new kick. Juicing. I try to make fresh juice at least once a day…..as a snack or for a meal supplement. See all of the fruits and vegetables above? I made them all into a juice drink…..and it tasted great…..and I’m not just saying that. I’m a picky eater…..also guilty of eating way too many donuts, too much fast food and emptying the candy jars…..so believe me when I say the juice tastes GOOD.
A few reasons I juice:
1. Juicing helps me quickly absorb all the nutrients from fruits and vegetables that I might lose otherwise through difficult digestion.
2. I can add vegetables that I wouldn’t eat on their own….because I can hide the taste with other juices.
3. I can tell I have more energy and that I feel better throughout the day when I juice…..and my body doesn’t have to spend precious energy digesting pounds and pounds of vegetables.
