Oh, I love a good doily. Don’t you? I know you do, of course you do!
Doilies are just absolute silliness, aren’t they? A relic of generations past, that’s for sure.
It used to be that doilies were used for real life useful purposes. Can you imagine? Uses such as protecting the backs of chairs from men’s hair grease, or protecting the arms of chairs from dirty sleeves, or protecting the surfaces of natural wood from, well, from whatever.
But these days, doilies are good for . . . well, what, exactly? Nothing. Except awesomeness.
Well, I have some uses for those doilies you keep buying at thrift stores even though you don’t really know what on earth to use them for. You betcha I do! After the jump, I’ve searched the far reaches of the Internet, just for you!
