Make a Kids Chem Lab!

jentatertots jentatertots |

I love seeing ideas that foster creativity and learning for kids. So when I saw this idea linked up to my site today, I knew I needed to share it. Michelle from Our WonderFilled Life is a busy mom of 5 boys, including quadruplets! One of her sons loves science and creating experiments.

Michelle wanted to encourage his love of science, so she turned an area in her mudroom into a fabulous Chem Lab!

Michelle hung a Periodic Table and all of the science supplies and books so they are easily accessible.

It’s hard to balance our kids’ interests with the need to keep our homes even somewhat tidy! But Michelle found a great way to encourage her son’s interest in science — and keep the house tidy at the same time. Now, she doesn’t have to tote his science kits around when he’s ready to conduct experiments … he’s got a perfect place for them right in the mudroom. (And it’s a great place for easy cleanup!)

Find out more about how she created this wonderful learning space at Our WonderFilled Life!
