Our Holiday Tradition of Christmas Pajamas

It’s been a tradition in my family since I was little to get new pajamas for Christmas morning. I looked forward to it every year. So of course I’ve passed on this tradition to my own kids and it’s been so. much. fun!

That’s what I love about holiday traditions, passing on the memories on to the next generation. My kids now know that each year on Christmas Even, right before they go to bed, they get to open one present from Mom and Dad. And it’s always pajamas.

Some year’s we’ve gone with a theme for our holiday pajamas, Disney characters or all of them in snowflakes. I’ve also made my kids pajamas one year. This year, my 9 year old son has been begging me for some footie pj’s, the kind like little babies wear, but in a giant size for him. And guess where I found them… Target! Yay! He’s going to love them. I also bought a pair for my 7 year old and one for my 4 year old. They are going to look so cute all matching and cute as buttons!

Do you have this same tradition too? I know a lot of other families who do the same.
