DIY Potted Herb Favors

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I shared 8 of my favorite hostess gift ideas? Well today I have the sweetest little project for you, fabulous for favors at a bridal shower or dinner party, or (you got it!) the perfect little hostess gift. We’re talking about DIY potted herbs, nestled into little terra cotta planters jazzed up with a bit of spray paint in your favorite color and topped off with a sweet little tag tied with twine. It’s about as easy as can be and the finished product is so cute you’ll love gifting it to anyone and everyone you know.

All you need to get started are the herbs of your choice. Consider your favorite kitchen staples (mine include basil and rosemary) or pick something inspired by the meal you’re serving up. Otherwise you just need small terra cotta planters, painter’s tape, spray paint, a bit of extra potting soil, twine, and the tags of your choice. (I personally love shipping tags readily available at any office supply store.) Pop over to The Sweetest Occasion where I’ve detailed all the steps. Happy planting!
