The World’s Shortest Money Saving Lesson

This is going to be the shortest blog post in the history of financial advice. Why? Because everything you need to know about money can be summed up in just 5 words.

Spend less than you make.

It really is that simple. Sure, there are 101 ways to budget, and I blog daily about different ways to reduce your expenses. But, it all basically amounts to the same thing.

Spend less than you make.

If the budget isn’t lining up at the end of the month, you have 2 choices — find a way to make more money, or figure out how to spend less. If you want more money, simply spend less of it.
