WNBA: Better Basketball, Lower PricesHeather Sokol
I spent another awesome night with my friends on Saturday. This time, we were invited to the Legends suite at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse to watch the Indiana Fever defeat New York Liberty. It was my second game of the season, and I’m so hooked!
These girls play with all their heart. I’ve honestly seen better basketball in 2 games this Fever season than I have in decades as a Pacers fan. The experience is totally different, too. With smaller crowds, it has a very different feel to it.
Less suits, more kids. Less testosterone, more spirit.
It’s just good, clean fun — and I can’t wait to see it again.
The best part is, WNBA games are more affordable than other professional sporting events — Fever ticket deals start at just $8 on 2-for-1 night! They also have a Family Night ticket package, starting at $13, that includes a hot dog, chips, and drink.
The WNBA season is just heating up, and with the Olympic break this year it lasts through September. Check the schedule, find a game in your area, and enjoy family fun, date night or a night with friends at bargain prices!
Indiana women bloggers were hosted in the Legends suite by the Fever, but all opinions are 100% mine.
