Oh, plywood, the lowliest of woods. Did you ever think decorating with something as flimsy and humble as plywood could ever be considered chic?

Well, look, I’m about to blow your mind: It CAN be chic! Yes!

After the jump, some seriously cool spaces filled with what I’d previously only seen used for building stuff, surfing in the irrigation ditch, and making rad jumps for BMX bikes.  PLYWOOD!

    I’ve been feeling bad about my plywood craft room furniture. Maybe it’s totally hot!

    My husband just built me a plywood table for my “studio” and he kept thinking it was totally cheesy but it’s actually totally awesome!! I stained it turquoise though, but what’s neat is that you can still see that large grain wood through it.

    And that map! Someone was handy with some sort of saw thingy to get all those little curves of the states.
