Ratz Fratz is a Training Bike, Hold the Training Wheels
The idea of those tiny two-wheelers that teach balance without troublesome pedals has always appealed to me. It makes good sense that kids will gain confidence this way and be ready for a “big kid bike” all the sooner. What hasn’t appealed to me is the typical price; whether it’s a Skuut, BugABike, Skipper Scooter, or LikeABike, the price always seems to soar into the triple digits faster than you can say “It costs how much??”
That’s why I nearly did a victory dance when I saw this Ratz Fratz 12″ training bike. It’s just $29.95 — which is a perfectly reasonable sum — and has plenty of big-kid styling, too. Nice. Get yours at Kiddly Winks, and use the leftover money to buy Junior a really nice bike once he’s old enough to appreciate it.

It looks cheap. I doubt it will last very long. The bars will no doubt spin all the way round causing the brake to stick on…. very confusing for a child! (and some parents) this will also cause jack-knife accidents. The cheap plastic wheels will buckle in minutes! The geometry looks naff aswell.
