Big Deal: Camper Shoes at Oliebollen

It wasn’t until my late 20s that I bought my first pair of Camper shoes, but after that I was hooked on the brand’s style and durability. “But for children?,” you ask. Well,  don’t we all secretly want to be European parents? (At least in Europe, the children seem shockingly well-behaved, maybe it’s the shoes.) Despite this desire for quiet, well-shod kids, I might not normally reccomend buying Campers for growing feet, but at about 50 percent off on Oliebollen, they begin to enter the realm of possibility. The above pair, the brother style ankle boot (on sale at $54.90) features the off-center design Camper is known for. Girls also get a discount on the wing tip ankle boot (on sale at $54.90), which would look ridiculously cute with a vintage-style dress (click through for photo).

Both are cute indeed…still a little pricey with the sale…. But as you had written- we *sigh* would love to have little babes running around with European accents dressed to the nines.

As much as I like European shoes, I just won’t spend more than $20 on a pair of shoes/boots for my kids, and I can usually get that at a Stride Rite sale.
