Jake Gyllenhaal – First Photos After The Death of Heath Ledger
Jake Gyllenhaal, best friend to Heath Ledger and godfather to Heath’s 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, was seen out on Saturday with Reese Witherspoon and her children. Not surprisingly they all looked very somber.
The Brokeback Mountain actor was in Los Angeles, however it’s unclear if he or Reese attended the private memorial for Heath on Saturday evening. Many are speculating that he will be fulfilling his role as godfather to Matilda now that her dad has passed.
Gyllenhaal had said of Heath and Michelle, “I remember being in rehearsal, and the two of them had googly eyes with each other.” Jake also said that having Matlida as his goddaughter is “an amazing honor.”

I can’t believe that I just read here that Heath’s tragic death is considered the “Event of the Century” what a crock! My God have you people no shame?! God Bless you Michelle,Matilda,Jake and family! I hope that all this blows over soon and you are able to mourn respectively and in private!
